At Apple A Day Convenient Care, we provide safe, affordable, and quality care to the various ages in the community of South Carolina. Our Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner provides individualized patient care across the board. We also offer Direct Primary Care for listed services.

When you or your family member is sick, injured, or needs a physical, we strive for convenient access to care that is affordable.
We accept major insurance. We offer the most affordable self-pay health care in the area for people who are underinsured, uninsured or have high deductible plans.

Snehal Patel is a board-certified nurse practitioner with 13+ years of experience, committed to promoting community health and affordable healthcare access. Fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, Snehal offers expertise in primary care, urgent care, and occupational medicine.
Snehal holds a Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University, along with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice, all obtained from Chamberlain University. Patel is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

The DPC model delivers comprehensive primary health care directly from your DPC provider. The patient pays for their care through a monthly fee similar to a Netflix Subscription.
Because DPC practices do not participate in any insurance or plans, the provider can avoid the ever-increasing and costly documentation demands and administrative intrusions that come with accepting insurance. Because DPC providers avoid these obligations to insurance companies, they are free to spend that time listening to and treating patients. With this, DPC providers eliminate the significant overhead costs of participating in insurance, and they can pass the savings on to you, the patient, and give compassionate, attentive, and timely care at an affordable cost.
If you have insurance through your job or by individual policy, you are often presented with the choices. For example, one option is lower or minimal, or zero dollar in cost for your monthly premiums, but you have to hit a high deductible before any coverage starts by your insurance.
With our DPC membership, utilize us for your basic health care needs. This saves you money every month, and your insurance becomes more like a catastrophic policy should a major issue arise.
You CAN NOT use insurance for our services; however, if you would like, we can order labs, x-rays, and medications at the facilities preferred by your insurance. For example, if you would like us to order a blood test through your insurance, you will determine your copays and costs with the outside lab through your insurance and compare that with our in-house lab cost to pick a cheaper option.

Our medicine membership fees can not be submitted to insurance for reimbursement.
Yes, however, your membership fees cannot be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement. You must have to sign a waiver every two years stating that you or your provider will NOT directly bill Medicare for your membership fees.
Medicare and supplemental insurance will still cover medical costs that you incur outside of Apple A Day Convenient Care. For example, prescriptions that you fill at the pharmacy, or labs run at an outside lab, or hospital charges, physical therapy, x-rays, and scans etc., are covered. You do not lose your Medicare coverage for other medical needs just because you are a patient of our medicine membership plan.
